Murashkina Lyuba

Date of birth: August 25, 2010

Diagnosis: Acute myeloid leukemia. Bone marrow transplantation (BMT) from matched unrelated donor is needed.

Five years old Lyuba is a patient of Oncohematology Department, in June she was diagnosed an acute myeloid leukemia. To be the patient of this Department is to be in closed space in special isolation ward, to see only doctors in white coats all day long, to take injections all the time, to make procedures, to take drugs, to make analysis and tests… Before illness Lyuba was very active, funny and restless child, she liked singing, dancing, drawing… The disease made her a silent, calm, patient girl… It is very hard to explain to so small child that there is a long way to recovery ahead. Because the only way to kill this serious disease is Bone marrow transplantation from matched unrelated donor. In OHMATDET Clinic she will have to take one more chemotherapy cycle – the 4th one, and in case of favorable response to the treatment, the girl will go to Italy with her mother. But before going to Italian Clinic the family have to collect 150 000 Euro and to pay the bill.

For Lyuba`s mom this is impossible without our help! The family is waiting for Clinic`s bill now. It will be for 5 000 Euro for typing and 25 000 Euro for donor search.
Only the participation of kind, not indifferent people will give this little patient of OHMATDET Clinic the possibility to become healthy and live a long and happy life.
We thank everyone, who will help us in our grief!
